All grown up

 With the Cutlers kids staying at our house and all the kids playing downstairs, we decided to play upstairs. We busted out some of our favorite games and taught them to Tim. He's really growing up. And we had so much fun playing with our boy, like we'd play with friends.

He's gone. A lot. A lot. A lot. Which means Sundays are my favorite days--they are kind of the only days we see him.

The dribble

We called it a waterfall at the beginning of the summer, but it isn't much of one anymore. Still, it was a fun hike with my hubby. And an exciting return. LOL. Jeff suggested we follow the water back... we didn't make it too far before we were in a mess and had to turn back, but it was a fun little adventure. :)

18 years

Is a very long time.
It's an entire person who can vote!
It's how long I've been married to the love of my life.

Our kids are the cutest. It was a Monday, which isn't exactly a great date day. I was finishing up cooking when Landon asked me to go into my bedroom for a minute. Jeff and I hung out when five or six minutes later he came back for us. The kids had set and lit two candles on the table and they'd set their own dishes outside on the picnic table.

And then FHE, Seth had made finger puppets of us and reenacted Jeff proposing to me. Then Jeff reenacted it and it was pretty funny--as well as inaccurate.

Tim had the FHE activity and for it he said, Mom and Dad are going out for dessert while I babysit.
I love my cute kids. I love how excited they get about each and every holiday. I love how loving and giving they are. I love how much they love their family. And of all the gifts they could have--I am so glad they have that one!
18 years and 4 of the most amazing people on the planet to prove it!

It's been a while. ..

But it sure felt like old times! We had dinner with the Conover's the other night. 3 hours goes by a lot faster then you realize! Love our dear friends so much. So happy we could spend some time together!

Date Night

Jeff and I went on a date last night.  The food was great. We enjoyed each other and had lots of fun.  But I am pretty sure we sat at tge smallest table known to man! And the funniest part was in the room they have all these tables and then a built in booth witg walls on each side.  So we were tucked in TIGHT! Both of us had our chairs as back as far as they could go and we still had to adjust how we sat or our knees wouldn't have just been touching but overlapping.  We giggled about it all night!  So I had to snap a couple photos.  Though they really don't do it justice!

Grown Ups Day :)

A couple months ago Jeff and I planned a weekend away {for our 15 year anniversary}. We had big plans of going to a nice hotel, cave tours, fun grown-up-no-kid adventures + a usa soccer game!

Well, we worked hard and spent a ton on the house this summer... so the hotel/cave/meals were out, but we'd already bought soccer tickets. So, instead of a fabulous weekend, we had one fantastic day!

It really was a great day.

We left early and started our day at the Jordan River Temple.

Then we went to this super cute deli called: Pop on Over.

They specialize in popovers... {the sandwich below}.

Jeff enjoyed chocolate covered bacon. :)

And I loved the fun atmosphere, records everywhere, and you could play any record you want. :)

It was a little crazy! The day that I was purchasing our soccer tickets my friend Kim called and asked-- Hey, would you guys want to go to a soccer game with us?

Haha.

So, instead of buying 2 tickets, I bought 4!

Poor Kim broke her heel last month and of course 3 months ago we scored great tickets right up front!--so she had to walk super far on her crutches. It was rough, but man that girl just smiles are bares it. Love her!

Landon Donovan!

I was totally going to make a sign with my Landon's picture that read: Landon we named our kid after you!!

But I didn't get it done.

It really is a bummer, we were so close to him!

It was such a fun game and USA won! 4 to 1.

I had such a great day with my sweetie!

I can't believe it's really been that long.

15 years ago today I married this man. It was a beautiful day {even thought my sister in law will tell you it rained the entire time we were inside the temple :)}.

It really was amazing though. Jeff and I sitting together with our mom's each beside us. I love that they have a special seat for mom's during the sealing. And I am so thankful my sweet mother could be there with me!

Holy cow he's adorable... just look at him.

Everyday I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who knows what we need even before we ask for it. I will forever be in His debt and forever be thankful for Him knowing what I needed in a husband--even when I didn't.

I knew I loved Jeff, but he's so many more things I need, things that 15 years ago I didn't even know about. --If that makes any sense at all. It does to me! haha.
