Snow... snow... snow... snow... and oh yeah, more snow....

 We live in Wyoming... we know snow. Lots and lots of snow. However, in more than 20 years Rock Springs hasn't had a snow day... until today.

SNOW DAY!
It snowed so much and then it all froze... like -30ish degrees. Even the next day when school was back in session the buses were all frozen and half the kids in town couldn't get to school anyway. It has been crazy. Kinda fun, but crazy. And super cold.

 Then we boiled some water and made our own snow! It was pretty awesome too.

Christmas at School

 Sydney's school had an ugly sweater day. I'm sad we didn't get a picture of the cute "silly" sweater we made. (she thought it was very silly to want to wear an ugly sweater, so we called it silly) Anyway, the sweater day came and Syd wasn't feeling well and stayed home from school. Sad. But the next day she felt much better and she still wore her sweater.

 The last day of school for the HS was a make up day. Tim had nothing to make up so he stayed home. I love this 17 year old of mine. I asked him if he wanted to go to his siblings school parties and of course he did! Seth and Sydney were so excited to see their brother!

How cute is that face! She had such a fun feast with songs and a march and lots and lots of food!

Sage Carnival

 This girl had her first school carnival. She remembered her brother's carnivals and she came home telling them the whole family would be going. She was disappointed when the boys all had scouts and homework. So, in the end it was Syd and the parents. She had fun!--and she did whatever she wanted!

November Student of the Month

 Landon was the student of the month in November! Which means for the rest of the year he gets to go see a movie once a month and bring his family. November's movie: Finding Dory!
I love this boy. He works hard and he is very helpful and kind.

Halloween at School

 I was in charge of Sydney's Halloween party. We had bug races and then they wrapped each other up like mummies.

First Kindergarten Field Trip!

 To the fire station! The funny thing is Sydney did this exact field trip at Miss Heidi's preschool. :) She loved it... again. :) She was the expert this round.

And because Syd's school doesn't start at 8:30 like everyone else, we took Hazel home with us and waited for the bus like normal.
