Jenkins visit!!

Payton had an orthodontist appointment, so I got my Sethy boy out of school a little early and he got to play with his best friend for a few hours! It was so much fun to see them. We miss them so much! The boys had a blast and they even stayed for dinner. But eventually it was time for them to head home and that was a very sad moment.

These little girls are best buddies too. They sure love each other!

I love that Emily! She has been such a good friend. 

So long Jenkins

Saying goodbye... it's really no fun at all. These pictures make me laugh because we're all smiles, but really we were all tears.

Last days with our Jenkins

These darn friends of ours moved away the end of July. The boys adore each other and spent countless hours together. But Sydney and Ellie were best buds too. Here's a few pictures of our last days with our favorite neighbors.

Ellie's Wet

We love our little Ellie neighbor. She is pretty sure she has 5 big brothers instead of 2 plus a bossy big sister who loves her dearly. Whenever they are outside she runs to our house and usually ends up in our house playing. And we like it that way! In fact Sydney gets pretty annoyed when her brothers try to cut in on her Ellie time. She can say "Elll" and asks several times. Day to go see Ellie!

So this day Ellie came over and they went in the back and then suddenly Ellie was wet! And they were going somewhere soon. So we kept Ellie while they ran their errand and she got even more wet! Haha. She was shivering pretty good when her daddy came to get her but she still sobbed when she left. I love that she loves us so much!

Tears and Campouts

Last week our next door neighbors, some of our best friends, Seth's best buddy, classmate and walk-to-school pal told us they were moving. It was not happy news. I was so sad. Emily is a dear friend. We car pool, help each other out with kiddos, and dog watching, she's my hair dresser, we love each others kids and they're in and out of our two houses all the time. We have a good thing going. So--yes, I was super sad. 
But my Seth. His heart was just broken and that broke mine. I told him the news and then held him while he sobbed. It was rough. :(

All four of our boys are such good friends. They are four peas. :)

The night that we found out about the move, we had a campout in our backyard on the trampoline. They had a blast!

Crib Bench

Several months ago I gave our friends the Jenkins Sydney's old crib. Well, it turns out that crib was really pretty darn old. And it wasn't up to par for babies anymore. So, they couldn't use it for Ellie.

With a little help Emily had two little benches made of of the crib, she kept one for Ellie and gave one to us for Christmas. It was such a fun surprise! And I love that we have Sydney's crib in such a fun usable way! Isn't it adorable?!

Neighbor Friends

Payton, Carsen, Seth and Landon are such good friends.

And we all love sweet little Ellie. 

Even though they're 2 years apart, Sydney loves to play and help with her.
