Sydney's been writing letters and she's getting a few in return! They sure make her happy!! She loves her Aunt Becky!

Letters to teachers

Oh Sydney.
She loves her Miss Heidi. We are so thankful Heidi came to Wyoming and that she taught our girl. --not to mention she's one of my besties. We gave her this picture and Sydney wrote her a letter, telling her a couple of times that she loves her so much.

Later it was time to write notes to her CDC teachers. Who really are very nice ladies and they had a lovely little class. But when I asked her what she wanted to say, she said: "I like you a little bit." .... okay.... So, I said, "What did you like to do with your teacher?" She thought and then she said, "I like playtime. And I like you a little bit."

My Aunt Shirley died a couple of months ago. She adored Elvis. Jeff and I went to her funeral with Beck, Dad, Greg and Amy. I got this last week from my sweet cousin Vickie.

Dear Aunt Kris,

I am excited to see you this Christmas. I hope you get here on time and don’t have to leave because of a family accident again. My only Christmas present would be for you to come to Christmas with us. I miss you very much. My question is why would you peek are house for the Christmas party. You are the best at presents picker don’t tell anyone that I said that I now that you are laughing now, but just don’t tell anyone that I said, you are the best presents picker. Guess who this boy is, if you picked Seth or Tim you are wrong it is your favorite one Landon I wrote this because I missed you so very much. Write soon.

Pen Pals

When my friend from Washington asked for Pen Pals for her 13, 10 and 8 year old, I thought-- how fun! When I told my kids we were going to try out Pen Pals... they all looked at me with blank glazes. Even my 13 year old didn't know what a pen pal was. I totally had to explain the concept... no texting, no emailing, no voxering... Mail. Through the post office, traveling over mountains and rivers, Mail.

Here are Landon and Seth writing letters to 10 year old Kippi and 8 year old Rieken. Tim wrote a nice letter to 13 year old Kelton.

 

And the fun begins! Now we're just waiting for our letters in return. :) My boys are so excited!
