Mommy daughter night

Sydney and I have been talking about doing this for a while and we finally did it--before summer ended! Mommy daughter night! We invited some of her favorite friends over and their moms and we watched a movie and had snacks--in our PJ's!
The Jex girls came, Lila, her sister and her momma, and the Cutler girls!

They were all so cute and Sydney was super excited. We were getting things ready when Sydney yelled out "pillow fight!" It was so funny and then they had an awesome 5 year old pillow fight!

 

Girls Night

My night to plan girls night. I did an in house personal pedicure night. It wasn't super exciting. haha. But it was relaxing and fun to be with the girls.

Girls Talk

Girls Night.
Fara had us over to play games and Heidi brought Girls Talk.
I got Girls Talk for my 10th birthday. It was 4th grade. Kristy Black gave it to me and she was so excited about it she said, "Let's play it right now!" I still had gifts to open, so I said something like, "In a minute" or "When I'm done." She said, "No, now, or I'll take it back." So, we stopped the gifts and played Girls Talk.
I have to say, it was way more fun to play with my grown up girlfriends.

Heidi had to do push ups and I had to cry real tears...

Fara had to walk backwards holding on to her ankles and dance with a broom.

Heidi had to show us her crossfit squat and I had to make up a dance... I called it the Golden Boob... which is another story. :)

And ta-da! I won. :)

Kay's Girls

Greg was sick and so the Bell's left shortly after we opened gifts, so our Amy is missing from this picture.

Sydney's First Girls Night!

Fara invited me over to watch Malificent with her and Lily. We've a been wanting to see it. I brought the Syd and we made it a girls night.  My favorite was right before we left Sydney looked at her daddy, she signed dad and shook her head. She said aloud, "Noo dad. Noo dad." She knew it was girls night!

My Girls

I went to Evanston in October and Becky and I went through all of my mom's Christmas stuff. We split everything into 4 bins and then dad randomly gave out the bins to each of us. It was good and difficult., especially for Dad. It was fun to see her things though and to remember how she decorated.  She always loved this time of year and getting her home all ready for the holidays.

Pedicures with a couple of my favorite gals

I had one more day with my CJ after the 4th. We started the day with pedicures and lunch with Heidi. :) It was Heidi's first one!

It was so fun watching Heidi squirm in her seat with each little foot rub... I can't say too much!--I do the same thing. Darn ticklish feet.

 

After pedicures, Cindy Jo and I came back to my house to visit and then we made dinner together and played games with the kids. It was so wonderful to see the Gordon's again!

A couple weeks ago I went to Evanston with some of my sweet friends. We've been talking about going to the craft store and lunch at the Deli forever. And finally we did it! Fara, Heidi, Stacey, Me & kiddos!

My Kailey girl is home from college and she is working at the Deli so we got to see her! She came out to say hello and Sydney had all kinds of loves for her... and for us together. It's a good thing Kailey and I love each other! :)
