Landon, the horses, the flood

Our friends, the Wheelers own horses. They asked Landon to feed them one week while they were away. The last day Landon and I went out to do it and we found the street at the end of our block, nearest the mountain was flooding. The water was just pouring down and emergency vehicles were gathered and people working frantically. It was crazy. I still don't know

Landon did such a great job taking on this chore. He did it all on his own.

Rikki and her family came and Sydney had so much fun playing with her little girl cousins! Payton is just 5 months older than her and they had lots of fun!

horses

Over Memorial Day we got to meet Jamie. She's a wounded horse my in-laws have been helping. The boys got to feed her and pet her. Fun stuff.

Murdock's has come to Rock Springs. :)
We went the other day and Sydney fell in love.
She loved the horses, the hats, the pigs...
Any animal she saw she loved.

But the best was when she snagged this stuffed horse, threw him on the ground and sat on him. hahaha. O man she's a cute girl.

Horses & Tractors

It's not a trip to grandma's without a horseback ride!

Sydney wasn't so sure about her ride...

But she did love the tractor!

Yes, she thought it was pretty great and then
grandpa turned the horn on and oh! she loved it!

Grandpa took the girls for a ride!

Seth in a retro Rip's Grocery coat.
Oh, its cute on him!

New Boots

Sydney's favorite pink cowgirl boots are getting a whole lot more difficult to put on. We got these new to us boots out of storage and she's been trying them out... though she still brings me the old ones to shove onto her little feet. haha

She's headed... somewhere...

Cowgirl Sydney on her horse, hat and pack back going who knows where...
But she sure is happy about it. :)
