Seth's Baptism

My baby boy was baptized on June 29. I still can't believe he's that old. He was pretty excited for his special day. And we were so blessed to have so many family and friends come celebrate with us.
The baptism was at 2:30, so we had a family lunch before hand.

The Baptism Boy!

I love this boy so very much!

Our sweet Bishop Wales.

Seth's best buddies, Taysum and Adam

Grandma gave a great Baptism talk on the "3 Bears", bear testimony, bear His name, and bear one another's burdens.

My children adore their Great Grandma Bruce. They talk about her often and ask when we will see her next. We were so happy she could make it!

Seth was showered with love! Logan Conover couldn't wait to give Seth a gift. :)

Seth's sweet primary teacher, Natalie Powell.

Aunt Jodi gave a wonderful Holy Ghost talk. We're just missing our little Braxton man here, he wasn't feeling well and didn't make the trip.

The Arnells drove far to come see Seth, we were so grateful!

Aunt Becky and Kailey came too. :)

My favorite people :)

Spiderman-Water Party!!

Seth's #8 Birthday Party wasn't huge, but it was fun! And he had his brother's and his 3 very best buddies.
He wanted Spiderman and water. And that's what we rolled with!

This is Michael, he is a sweet boy and Seth's best friend in his class. I sure hope they get to go to 2nd grade together!

We made "bad guys" and hung them up all over the back yard. Tim was the Sand-Man and then we gave them their own webbing power {aka silly string} and they had to spray the bad guys without getting caught by the Sand-Man!

Then the Sand-Man, stuck in the sand tried to dodge some spidey- water balloons! Seriously, Tim is such a trooper, he played his part well and had so much fun with those little guys.

Taysum, Adam, Seth, Michael, and Landon

Adam was so very excited about his gift to Seth. And it is pretty awesome, a gun that turns into a knife. Seth carries it with him... almost everywhere we go... ya know, just in case we run into Doc Oct. :)

Taysum was excited too! And they got to use part of his gift in their water fight!

I can't believe my boy is so old.
I adore this boy. He knows just how to make his momma happy.

Seth turns 8 on Father's Day :)

Two of my favorite boys shared a special day last week. Seth's birthday fell on Father's Day and he and his dad thought that was pretty fun!
This boy cracks me up. He asked for a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, but he didn't ask for the army men, that was a surprise. I had army men hanging from his door jam and then on and beside the cake. He loved it. And he was sure impressed. When he saw it he said- "Mom, did Dad help you with this?"
"Nope."
"Did Tim??"
"No."
"You did it all by yourself. Wow!"
Yes, I know oh, so impressive, I can set up plastic army men. :)

I told Seth to run and get in bed with his daddy and we would serve them both breakfast in bed!! But daddy was already awake, so they just joined us.

They both got spoiled :)

This is not the best picture... it really doesn't show his excitement. He was so excited to get his own/new copy of the scriptures with his name on it. His scriptures are black, he loves black and hot pink... had hot pink scriptures been an option that's what he would have wanted. Silly kid.

Seriously.
Cutest 8 year old!
