Mom's birthday

Momma Bell's birthday.
This is how we celebrate.

My birthday

Thirty-Nine.
I'm not sure when I grew up... let alone my kids.
So crazy.
But 39 years of a wonderful life is pretty wonderful.
I had a really lovely birthday.
This is the time of year that I rarely get to see my husband.
He had a chance at being out of town for a region game on my birthday, but lucky me, he was playing at home the next day, so he wasn't out of town, he was home! Still, he had to put in a sub request for this day months ago, so I actually saw a lot of him!!!! He took me out to lunch and we spent the afternoon together. Then he had practice early, so he was off early! Woo! Woo!

Sam and I were selling things at another booth boutique. This one was a Friday and Saturday event. I only stayed a couple hours on Friday since it was my birthday and Landon came with me since he helped me make the WYO signs.

I've decided 39 is the year of bravery because we decided to take all of these kids to my favorite restaurant, the 9 iron. It's not exactly kid friendly and we don't ever ever ever take them. Tim has maybe been there once... once, if that. I can't remember. It was fun, it took forever, but it was fun and they were excited to be there.

 Then home for cake!
I have the best people around me.
So, yay for 39!

90 Years with MaryLou

I love this beautiful woman. She is such a good example to me and my kids. She wanted her 90th birthday to pass by without a glance, but we couldn't let that happen. So, I suggested a family dinner. It turned into a bit of a bigger family dinner than we originally thought, but it was so good to see her and to see so much family.
Tay making grandma's 90 things we love about you poster!
We had been there a whole fifteen minutes when Syd busted open her chin. Ouch.

Great Grandkids! --How lucky are these kids??
Grandkids!
Grand daughter-in-laws!

My kids really do adore this lady. They talk about her all the time. They ask to see her on a regular basis. Sydney wrote her a letter just a couple of weeks ago. Grandma was so touched and she is so thoughtful, she called to thank Syd for the note and picture. Grandma also never misses a birthday! We always get cards with sweet personal notes.

Tim at 17

My Tim. He's the cutest. We spent his seventeenth birthday in Evanston with lots of family.

From Landon

From Grandma

These two are so cute together.

So much love.
I have the cutest nieces and nephews. They all sat around Sydney and her Dora house and played and played with her. What teenagers do that?? They are the best!

Then we made my family play pie in the face!

Tres Leches-- his favorite!

And then we got to have dinner with the Lehi Atkinson clan and grandma and grandpa! So much love and so much family!

Jeff was on a soccer trip so we Facetimed him for gift time!

I love this kid.
He is loving and kind.
He is the smartest person I know.
The best big brother!
And I can't believe he is somehow already 17 years old.
