Shopping with Dad

We went shopping at the store that sells the village pieces with dad. He gave us a budget and let us pick what we wanted for our villages for Christmas. I started my village last year after we split up mom's village.

It was really fun. :) And I'm excited for my sweet little village pieces!!

I haven't seen my sister in over a year. And a year ago when I saw her, it was for 2 awful hours. Her mother in law had just passed away and she was planning, packing, and hurrying to get back home. So, really I don't count that visit. Which means, it's been more than 2 years since I have seen my sister Kris. 

Way.

Way.

Way too long.

I don't like it. At all.

But happy news! She's here, in Wyoming!

She flew into Utah Wednesday and Friday I went and picked her up. That night we went to Eryn's dance recital together where we met up with Beck.

My kids still hadn't seen her and by the time I got back to the ranch on Friday, Syd was in bed, so we waited until Saturday. Saturday the kids got to wake Aunt Kris up.

Aunt Becky got down her Dora house and people and Sydney was in love! She and Aunt Kris played and played.

Kris made all the kids new winter hats. The boys got ninja turtles hats.

We are all so happy to have Aunt Kris here!!
