Star Valley Temple

I have been looking forward to this day since the day the Star Valley Temple was announced. The very hour I could order tickets to the open house I did!! Wyoming has a piece of my heart and now it has it's first temple!

We have some beloved friends who live in Star Valley so that was a huge bonus to see them as well!

Soccer season, so no Jeff, but all of my kids were there and it was so special to see inside that precious tiny temple. ...seriously the smallest temple I've ever seen, but lovely. The paintings, everything portrayed my big beautiful Wyoming so well.

Because Tod was in town, he took the boys home and my boys got to spend the night with their BFF's before I came the next day. They were so happy!

And my sweet Janan! We got to see her and her kiddos as well.

I love this beautiful girl! She is so kind and sweet and such a good friend!

Ellie used to LOVE us, she wanted to live at our house when we were neighbors and when we came to visit, she wasn't so sure about us. She had just decided she loved us again when it was time to go. She cried and cried, sweet girl!

Em bought my book! ... and loved it. :)

Early April my good friend Janan came to Rock Springs for a visit. We grabbed some lunch and went to the park with the kids one day.

Landon was home no-so-sick and it was fun to have him there to play with Dawson and Shakayla. 

We've missed them so much! 

It was so happy to see them and to hear about their family sealing.

We sure do miss them being 2 houses away.

I love this lady!

She is an amazing person and I'm so glad we're friends.

Idaho Falls Temple

Our dear friend Janan went through the temple on Tuesday. I was so grateful we could be there. Being in the temple was wonderful and being there with Janan and her family was amazing.  She is the last of her siblings to go through and watching her with her parents and siblings and grandmother-- at the risk of sounding silly, it was like watching someone come home, home to heaven,  their family all anxiously waiting their arrival. It was beautiful.

Bike

My sweet friend and neighbor Janan--yes, the same friend who gave us the hat, gave us this bicycle for Sydney.

She has always loved anything she can ride on... well except for a real, live horse... that's one she needs to warm up to. :) But anything she can rock or drive she thinks is pretty great, but this was new, this was different. And she thought it was awesome! I drove her all over the yard!

Sydney's Hat

My friend Janan is so sweet to give us some of her cutest hand-me-downs. Her mom is an amazing seamstress. Sydney is a little too small to fit into the dresses Janan has given us, but this hat {her mom made--yep she even mad a hat!} fits her perfect and Sydney adores it. She wants it on ALL THE TIME! :)
