Santa Sighting #3

Syd's last sighting of Santa was at our ward party.

She loves him.

She told me she is sure his best friend is Jesus.

 Aunt Kris and I took Syd to the mall to see Santa... again... our visit at Walmart was pretty un-amazing. The stinking mall won't let you take pictures though, they charge 25$. Which is super lame and very unChristmas-like. So, Kris stood back and took pictures. haha! He was a very sweet Santa and Sydney thought he was wonderful.

Santa Sighting #1

This girl. She is my right hand man and I am so grateful for that.

She and I went to Walmart and we were going to head to the mall afterword to see Santa, but the first person we ran into at Walmart was the man himself... so of course he couldn't be at the mall too. :)

Ward Party

For as big as our ward is, our Christmas party wasn't very big.
My cute friend Shelsi was there.

And Santa!
Sydney was so happy to see him. And she did so well!! She told him and he completely understood that she wanted a "Barbie home" and a "boy Barbie".

Seth said he was too old to sit on Santa's lap. Tim and Landon didn't even consider it. I can't believe 3 of my 4 kids are already done sitting on Santa's lap.

Santa and the Light Parade

My baby boy is getting so big.

This little girl loves Santa.

We stood in line and she gave him googly eyes and waved at him until it was our turn. And he was so sweet, he just kept waving right back at her.

Sydney insisted on helping me take Landon's pictures... and not one of them is clear!

After Santa we went to the light parade down town. I think it was the warmest light parade we've ever been to. 

Cinnamon Rolls with Santa

Once again we had breakfast with Santa and our ward.

It's so much fun!

Sydney sat on the table and helped herself to more than just her plate of food.

Landon's buddy Sam will be moving into our ward in just a couple of weeks so they came to the party. Here Landon and Sam are singing with the primary kids.

...And Seth of course joined in!

 

 

SANTA!

Sydney knows who this guy is. She calls him "Ho Ho" (She also says Jesus btw, and it's adorable!) I thought maybe since she liked to look at him in books and say his name that she'd really like him...

Ya, not so much... well at least not when mom passed her off to him.

Salt & Pepper Santa

When I was little one of my favorite Christmas decorations of my mom's were these little plastic salt and pepper shakers. She had a Santa & Mrs. Clause, a Mr. & Mrs. Snowman and a Mr. & Mrs. Gingerbread Man. I'd sit by her end tables, where she sat them and play and play with them.

A few years ago my mom gave me a few of her old Christmas decorations among them the Mr. & Mrs. Clause.

Sydney likes to play with them too. :)

Yeah, she's making them kiss. haha.
