GO Pokes!

 Wyoming VS BYU in the Poinsettia Bowl! Our Pokes had an amazing football season and it was so exciting to be in a bowl game!
We lost. It was super sad. San Diego got more rain during that game than they probably got all year. The ball was slippery, the ground wet and both teams had issues, but our issues were on the 2 yard line. :( The rain beat us more than those Cougars.
Let's be honest, I wanted to cry. Just a little.

Go Pokes!

 With Jeff's season at an end we made the quickest trip to Laramie to a game! It was a night game and we didn't even decide to go until mid morning. The big boys were on a temple trip and the minute they walked in the door we told them to change to get back in the car. We were so late we couldn't find a room in Laramie, so we found a room in Cheyenne. We were only in Laramie about 6 hours. But it was fun fast trip!

 We got to see Sam, Kailey and Eryn for a few minutes. And later Jeff too, but we only saw them for a few short minutes.

We love Laramie and we seriously love the Pokes.

What a fun game sitting up in the nose bleeds! It was actually a great view.

We {heart} the POKES!

 We went to Laramie over President's Day weekend. The boys had never been to a WYO basketball game and so with days off from school it was the perfect time! We had so much fun too! Little Miss had a rough morning the day we left and with our awful last hotel trip (when Syd cried for hours in the night and Seth sleep screamed) I was getting concerned. But she was an angel. There was still a little crying during sleep... seriously how does Landon sleep in the same room as Seth?? That boy does crazy things in his sleep.
This house is one that my friend Kristina and I used to drive by all the time when we lived in Laramie. We'd set up the timer on my camera and take a picture. I had to show my family... they weren't all that impressed.
We also got to spend some time with one of my very best friends, Bridgette, and her family. Sadly no pictures, but we had a fun visit!

We also had to go eat at our favorite Laramie spot: El Conquistador

Again, Sydney was so awesome. Aww, nice. :)

And below is the fabulous meal, a stuffed chicken sopapia with their enchilada sauce. mmmm... seriously so good.

Then we went swimming. And of course we got to see our Kailey Ann! She had dinner with us and went swimming with us too. We were so happy to see her!

GAME DAY!

 

 Syd caught herself in the mirror in the morning and apparently she liked what she saw. She kissed herself a dozen times.

The boys were pretty excited and so was Syd. haha.

Actually it was her nap time and again I was a little worried that she'd be a huge pill, but she fell asleep, amazingly, she slept for an hour and then she was a happy happy girl.

K started out with her buds and then later came to sit with us. Seth was so worried about her not coming. He started crying he wanted her right by him so much!

We were down most of the game, until the last two minutes when we came back to tie and then won in overtime. It was pretty exciting and the guys loved it!
