Rag Ringlets... sort of

 Momma used to put my hair in rag ringlets all the time. With church at 9 am on Christmas morning, I knew I'd want some fast cute hair for the Syd. YouTube showed me an easy breezy method and we tried it out..

Braids

She likes the curly hair... without the curling iron, so we put braids all over her head and then let it get all crimpy on it's own. She totally digs it.

Hair Cuts with our Bri!

We love our Bri! Sydney always ask about "Bri's boy", she's a fan of Kort. :) But this time she asked when Bri was going to have some kids. That's when Bri told us she's three months pregnant!! I was so surprised! Such happy news!

She had a good 4 inches cut off. It's what she wanted and it's super cute!

The Hair

One day he decided it was time for a haircut.

Jeff was away on a trip, so we decided to pretend we didn't know what he was talking about when he saw Tim's new cut.  

Pink

Yes I dyed my hair pink... just a couple strands and I wanted something different and fun...
I'm learning it's not so different. haha! I have seen so many completely pink haired ladies since I did this! haha.
I still love it! Thanks my sweet Bri!

Sydney loves Hazel

Fara stopped by while I was getting my hair done. Hazel loved the beauty chair and Sydney loved the tools! She pretended to dye Hazel's hair and it was so cute until she tried to dip the brush into the actual dye. Then the game was over! :)

5 rubber bands

She wants what she wants... and this day, she wanted 5 rubber bands in her hair. I think she ended up with 6... but that was okay too, as long as we counted to 5! 

How to get a boy who is in love with his hair to FINALLY cut it...

You can offer him gifts... money...

Yeah, the bribes didn't work...

His dad could tease him until the day is long...

Yeah, didn't work...

His mom french braided his hair...

Nope, didn't work...

But then one day, he missed school for a doctor's appointment, in English they separated into groups of 3 and handed out parts for Romeo and Juliet. 

Tim was missing, but was still put into a group with two of his buddies. One buddy (Collin, I think--{thank you Collin!!!}) texted Tim to tell him this. He told him since he was gone, he was given the part of Juliet.

Tim said, "What?! I'm not a girl."

But neither is Collin or Trevor...

So, Tim asked, "Is it the hair?"

And Collin replied, "Probably."

He asked for a haircut that night. :)

I don't think either of these pictures shows really how much hair I cut off that boys head. His hair was so long, but Tim also has extremely thick and full hair. It was not an easy task, but I can see his beautiful face now and that makes me happy.

The Haircut!

Sydney has only had one haircut in her almost 4 years of life and it was just little trim. So a few weeks ago I decided it was time to cut off the baby hair. It was so pretty, but so baby fine and every morning was a struggle combing through it. So we went and saw sweet Bri and she got herself a big girl hair cut! 

She was so good and she loves it!

She told everyone she saw with a sign that she got her hair cut! :)

We didn't measure exact, but we cut off around 8-9 inches!

And mama mia she is adorable!!

The Mop

Jeff has offered Tim up to 40$ to cut his hair. 

He's not budging. 

He loves his hair.

He was thankful for his hair on his thankful turkey.

The boy's got conviction!--well, at least when it comes to his hair. :) 

Hair + Smiles

I was combing this cute girls hair and it's just gotten so long. I went to take a picture of how long, but she saw me get the camera and she knows what the camera means. So I got this adorable grin. :)
