Jackpot... Err... I mean dentist!

When I was a kid I was terrified of going to the dentist. Not afraid or jittery or nervous--terrified.
So, it's a little crazy to me that this little girl waits and loves and longs to go to the dentist. She'd asked me a week before her appointment when it would be her turn to go. Luckily I got to tell her very soon! Then the day came and she did her little fist pump "Yes!!" She also asked me: "Not me birthday?" Nope sis, it isn't your birthday. She also pointed at her brother and told him, "No boys!"
Apparently this trip to the dentist was girls day out.

She did great. No cavities and a prize to boot. Hopefully it was all she hoped it would be.

At the Dentist

The good thing about being friends with your dentist is he likes to try new things out on you. Like his new $150,000 machine that carves out a filler for your tooth. It's kind of in between a crown and a filling. I can't remember the name for it. But it was pretty cool--so cool I took pictures. :)

There's the section they glued into my existing tooth. 

I think every staff member came in to watch Nate glue it into my mouth.--I was the first one he tried it out on. And then they all wanted it to be their turn. Haha.

The other plus is because I was his guinea pig, he only charged the insurance for that tooth. (And it fits perfect!!)

Sydney goes to the dentist

The brothers all had a cleaning appointment today. We got done a little early so the sweet little hygienist had Sydney sit with her brother and open wide.... though she wouldn't open too much. In fact she sucked on the mouth mirror. But she did well! She wasn't afraid at all.
