Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is my favorite. It feels so family oriented and so sacred. We had a yummy big dinner...

And then opened our one gift...

Christmas Jammies!

Letter's to Santa and goodies!

Christmas Eve

We had such a fun Christmas Eve. We normally go sledding, but between the wind, low degrees and lack of snow that didn't happen. Instead we went out to lunch and then we decorated cookies for Santa.

Grandpa Bell came to spend Christmas with us.

We opened our one Christmas gift, pj's as always, but this year I bought special ornaments and added them to their gift. The ornaments represented something about this year, had each of their names on them and the year.

Sydney's ornament was Dora. She loved it. She kissed it and squealed.

Seth's ornament was a Scouting shirt, he became a cub scout this year.

Landon's ornament was a blond basketball player with the number 50 and his name. (Landon was the #50 this year!)

Tim's was a stack of books with his name and GONE written on one. GONE is his new favorite book series.

Aw! Cutest kids ever!

Then we read our Christmas stories. Jeff read the night before Christmas and I read the new book my sister Kris sent us as well as Bright Christmas- my favorite Christmas Nativity story.

I love Christmas Eve. I love it just as much as Christmas Day. There's something just so reverent and special about it.
