Spring Break Food!! Mmmmm ....and Sydney sleeping

After the zoo we went out to eat. We found this pizza place, The pizza Studio. It was exactly like this place Heidi had told me about!!--only a different place. And it was so yummy. We got 3 pizzas. Meat for Jeff and Landon. Cheese for Seth and Sydney. And then I got to be creative! I had a rosemary crust, alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, artichoke hearts, purple olives-which taste like green olives, banana peppers, and chicken. It was so so so so so yummy. Tim is such a trooper, he had a piece of all three!

Right next to the pizza studio was The Sweet Tooth Fairy. They've won cupcake wars 3 times! I had this amazing cookie that is probably two days worth of points. But it was serious goodness.

And this sweet girl was pooped after a day of fun. She slept most of the way home. Such a fun trip!

Spring Break day 2: Zoo

This silly girl looooves hotels. Loves them. She would be perfectly content to skip all the fun we planned and hang out at the hotel.

Saturday morning we went to the Batman vs Superman movie. It was actually pretty good and the boys were pretty excited. Sydney got a bit bored.... And towards the end, the big fight scene she started singing her own little made up song about Superman... "Superman... Superman... me love Superman..." She was really going at it. It was actually okay during the crazy scene, because the movie was louder. But then drama and quiet and she was still singing!! I said, "Sydney stop singing, shh." She had her doll and she says, "Not me, Mom, it Belle." And then "Belle" started singing again. I had to tell her baby to be quiet before she stopped.
Oh, man, I love that little girl.

The Zoo!
It was chilly, but not terrible. The animals weren't too active, but we still had fun. We love the zoo and the carousel. The baby orangutan and the grizzly bears were super fun to watch too. 

I love this picture. The cat came over after this and licked the window again and again where her hand was. It was so sweet--but it drew a crowd and I couldn't get a picture.

Spring Break day 1: train.... Temple.... Leaving the cold Rock Springsfor the slightly less cold Salt Lake City!

Spring Break!!
We decided to leave a bunch of not so spring snow and head to the big city, Salt Lake--which had slightly less snow than us. :)

We got to stop at Grandma and Grandpa's store on our way through, which is always fun!!

Friday we rolled into town and did a little shopping. And then when our Hotel room wasn't quite ready we decided to ride the trax down town to temple square.

I really do love to see the temple.

So much missionary work was happening inside of the temple. It was amazing, everywhere we walked their were sisters talking to non members, answering questions. And then a pair stopped to talk to us. They were sweet girls and we watched a 12 minute video with them, every two minutes we'd switch rooms and the rooms were decorated to go along with that portion of the video--a nursery, grandma's house, etc. One section of the video the grandfather passed away. The mom, whose dad had died was distraught, but of course thankful for the plan of salvation. My sweet little boys, one on each side of me, they both scooted closer, not knowing what the other was doing and took one of my hands, holding me and comforting me--both of them thinking of their grandma and my pain. I love my sweet Landon and Seth so much.
