Christmas 2012

We counted down the days. We preps and shopped and baked and talked about the sacredness of the birth of our sweet Savior and finally that special day came! We were all pretty excited.
Tim

Sydney

Landon

 Seth

Sydney loves her kitchen and she likes to chat "stir, stir, stir" as she cooks :) ...as well as force feed people

I think Seth was more excited about his slippers than anything else. And I'm not sure he's taken them off since... he's even slept in them.

Tim wanted games games games...
and that's what he got!

Landon is always the hardest to shop for. But Santa did good with the Star Wars Angry Bird At-At attack set!

My kids are so sweet and they were so excited to buy gifts for one another. They drew names: Tim had Seth, Seth had Tim, Landon had Sydney and Sydney had Landon. The boys worked and earned money and then bought gifts! And I'm pretty sure they were more excited about their sibling opening what they were giving than anything else!
Landon gave Sydney a Rapunzel doll. He's so cute. He also made all of us a card with a true meaning of Christmas message on it... most of them said things like "it's better to give then to retrieve" haha

Tim is a babysitter and earns a lot more money than his brothers and he was very generous this year! He bought Seth the bat cave with guys to go with it.

Sydney gave Landon a spy watch and puppy.

And Seth got Tim a Hobbit Lego set!

They also made gifts for the siblings whose name they didn't draw.

For weeks Sydney hadn't messed with the tree or the gifts, but on Christmas morning she figured out that those colorful boxes under the tree had things inside of them!! And then she couldn't stand it. It didn't matter if it was her turn or her gift~ she'd get a present, take it to her opening spot and start in on it.

Talking... mostly listening to Grandma :)

We had such a fun family day.
I am so grateful for my family, this blessed season and our beautiful Savior.
