When Jeff gets home from work Sydney usually yells- "Dad!!!" then she'll point, wave, or give him a little hug.
This morning she woke up at 6:15, it was still dark out. But i brought her into my room and she could see even with the darkness that her daddy was in bed. She gave a sweetest, small, surprised, "Dad?" Then she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him for the longest time. She hugged him until he said to me- "I think she's asleep." and then he moved her. But she wasn't asleep, she'd probably still be huggin him. She'd just really really missed her daddy.
