Darbee's Blessing Day

Our baby niece Darbee was blessed last Sunday, August 3, 2014. For a split second we didn't think we would make it. Jeff started full swing into soccer August 1 (breakfast, lunch & dinner at the college!), on August 2 Jeff had a full day and we had planned to feed the players like we do every year. August 4 Jeff had soccer, I had Pirate Camp and Tim left for Scout Camp. So, we were trying to figure out how to make this work...
And then my wonderful husband said, let's just cancel the dinner this year. We need to be there. It's family.
And I'm so grateful for that.
We had such a wonderful visit! As quick as it was, it was so good to be with the whole Atkinson family! And to be with sweet baby Darbee on her special day.

The Arnells
Sydney decided to throw a fit during sacrament, so I took her to the hallway where we could hear the meeting perfectly. She had to potty, so we went and hurried back, just in time to hear the Bishop say- What a beautiful blessing Brother Arnell.
Ugh.
But when I asked Kristi, she said, Darbee was blessed to have a thirst for education and to be a friend to her sister and cousins. :)

Beautiful girl!

I love this picture!

Later Aunt Kristi let the kids knock pears out of her tree to take home. My boys were stoked!

Darbee has 2 Great Grandmas, which I find amazing!

So so happy we could be there! I only wish we could see everyone more often.
