Good News Minute

Remember when they used to do that in RS?

Anyway, I just had a couple things I wanted to remember and they both felt like "good news minutes" to me.

#1- I talked to a woman whose child is being baptized (this morning) about stake baptisms the other day. She was the first person who thanked me! It was so sweet. It was so wholeheartedly. And it was the first time someone has thanked me! I kind of work my butt off with phone calls and planning and then most people are ticked at me for "doing this". So, it was really nice to be thanked. I teared up actually. She probably thinks I'm a loon, but I don't care. :)

#2- I talked to my dad yesterday and he was telling me about how great I am. And how great my sister Kris thinks I am. It was very sweet. But then (and this is why I'm posting this!!) he said, "I mean it Jen. You're always doing things with your kids. You love your religion and you live it! Without pushing it onto everyone else."

I always think of my religion being an eye-sore to my dad. But the way I live it is making him proud of me--even if he doesn't believe it. :)
