Cove Fort
Between Richfield and St. George is a place called Cove Fort. It's a church history sight and a mission now. Couple missionaries run it.
It was really awesome.
President Hinckley's grandpa was a pioneer back in the day. He and his family were well established in their home and town when President Brigham Young sent him sent a telegraph asking Brother Hinckley to establish a Fort. He had to build it from the ground up. People from all over came and stayed at the fort. The Pony Express passed through and they had a telegraph that sent messages all the time.
I'm probably getting a few facts wrong--but it was such a neat place.
Brother Hinckley's home in Coalville (where they lived before). It was moved here when President Hinckley and his family earned enough money to purchase the Fort back and then they donated it to the church.
