This post should begin with the sad news of:
The van is dead.
So, the van could have been revived for about the same amount that a dealer would give us for it.
We decided after almost 10 years of safely driving us around it was time to put the ol' girl down. :)
After some prayers and some searching and some stressed out days we came home with this little pretty thing.
She's a Buick Enclave and Seth immediately named her:
Betsy.
She's bigger than she looks, that's for sure.
She seats 7. And Jeff and I sat in the back because I wasn't convinced that our growing boys would have any space in those back seats, but amazingly enough, they do.
There isn't as much luggage room as we'd like, so when we go on a long trip we'll be packing the luggage on top!
The problem with this car is it's just too pretty. I'm used to driving around an old van that my kids can eat in and I can park anywhere unafraid.
Now I make them wipe their feet before getting in the car and I park in the boonies so no one will ding Betsy.
GPS, blue tooth, heated seats, cooled seats
DVD player, jacks for game stations, wireless headphones
and who knows what else...
I really don't feel like I should be aloud to drive this car around.
But I like to. :)
