My dad came to see us on his 70th birthday. The kids were so excited to see him. We bought 3 different kinds of fish to smoke as well as some sausage. And then I made him his favorite potato salad. Dinner was kind of his big event. :) So was his gift!

They sure do love each other.
The Symes' went in with us and we bought Dad a smoker. He isn't always the easiest guy to buy for!--but he seemed to really be excited about it. And he loved his smoked dinner!!
We had cod, swordfish and mahi-mahi.
I made an ice cream cake too.
