A couple of weeks ago Fara and I went to Evanston for doctor visits. We stopped by Dad's. Because we were in Fara's truck he didn't recognize us and pulled away right as we were pulling up. Fara needed to nurse Hazel so we decided to go in anyway. Well, all the doors were locked so we sat on his porch to wait in the sunshine. Fara fed the baby and Sydney played. Well--for a bit she played and then suddenly she was in the house!! She had climbed in through the doggy door!! We could not coax her out and she just laughed at us.
Finally I called Dad to see how much longer until he would be home and he told me he was on his way to Utah!! O geez. Luckily we had bought cupcakes. I put one through the doggy door and coaxed her out with it. (Although she did sneak back in!!) She kept patting my dad's chair, saying "Papa". And then she sat in his chair and ignored us.
Yes, it was an exciting trip! Haha.
Sydney got to stay with grandma during my dentist appointment. She loves her grandma!!
