Planting Seeds

We love the Holy Scriptures. 

We read them every night as a family. 

Sometimes we listen better than other times. 

But we always do it.

And the other night, Sydney proved to me that we're planting seeds of faith. We sat around the living room like always and Jeff started us out, like always. Sydney was playing and pretty soon she jumped up and ran off--which happens... a lot. The girl is 2, we let her. We don't force her to sit. But soon she was back and with her was her "My first Book of Mormon" board book. She climbed into her favorite spot (the blanket box) and opened it up. And then she started to jabber. It was so funny and sweet all at the same time. 

I said, It must be Sydney's turn to read. --I know that's what she was doing--taking her turn!

So, Jeff stopped and we all listened (and yes quietly giggled) while she jabbered on nonsense--reading to us.
