Changes

We have lived in Rock Springs for almost 13 years {13 next month!}, in that time we have seen tremendous changes. Places that were once just hills and dirt now house hundreds of people... including us! Probably a dozen or so new restaurants, along with dozens (yes dozens) of apartment complexes.

It's grown.

A lot.

The church in Rock Springs has grown too. When we first moved here, there were 6 wards in Rock Springs, 9 + 2 branches in our stake. A few years later boundaries changed and The White Mountain ward was taken away. A year or two after that it was brought back. 3 or 4 more boundary changes as well as a new ward in Pinedale (part of our stake) and Rawlins was taken from our stake.

So, changes in Rock springs are kind of a given.

We recently had another boundary change. But this one was different. This one added another ward! --With talk of a whole new building in a few years.

Our family now lives in the White Mountain Ward.

And here's the crazy thing, our new ward still sits all the way out into the overflow, we're still pretty darn big!

As difficult as changes are, I know it's good. The church is growing here and that's a very good thing.
