Tiffany my niece and her husband Brandon live in Hoboken New Jersey. As you know, Hoboken along with many other cities was hit by hurricane Sandy. Tiffany and Brandon live in a 2nd story apartment so they were told to stay in their home until otherwise notified. They were there a good 48 hours. They had no power, heat, no hot water heater. Today their power was finally turned back on, they still don't have heat or a hot water heater. Their car was totalled. Tiffany commented at one point that she could see someones storage shed floating down the street.
It's just so scary and yet they have fared so much better than some. I'm so grateful they are safe.
Our love and prayers go to all those affected.
