Neighbors

When we lived on Johnson we had fairly nice neighbors, never any trouble, all was good.

When we lived on Polk most of our neighbors really kept to themselves. Except our neighbors directly next door and they weren't so nice.

On Carter our neighbors rocked! It was my dear friend Amy, across the street was my friend Heather and more friends from church down the road.

Now, here, in our new home our neighbors are mostly construction working men. When we first moved here just a few months ago we had no curtains. Once I woke up and there was a guy with a fork lift type thing in my back yard. He waved. Once my groceries spilled out of my van, one came over and helped clean them up. Still today, even though we've had some people move in right next door just a few weeks ago I still consider our neighbors to be a bunch of working men. There's two now that recognize me and my car and I saw one in town the other day and he happily waved. I kind of like it this way. They're not too loud, construction and all, they never party. . . that I see anyway, and they don't care if my dog barks.

I wish I had construction working men neighbors. By the way Toby never barks. I wish Toby lived next door instead of the 3 barking dogs that lived next to me. Maybe my construction men could be nice looking and remove their shirts in the hot sun and help me with my groceries.
