Quite possibly the most uneventful New Year's Eve we've ever ever had...

 No really, super uneventful... as in not all of us even made it to midnight. Still, it wasn't bad. The kids had fun together. I love that they are ages 5-17 and they will still occasionally "play" together.

Syd modeled her new dress outfit from cousin Lincoln for Christmas.

 Tim fell asleep at 10:30 and Jeff went to bed with a headache at the same time...

 So, the remainder of us played and giggled and kissed at midnight.

We are so very blessed!

Christmas/New Years/Party time at Grandma's!!

We were so happy to meet up with our Atkinson family for New Years. We haven't all been together in a very long time. And we hadn't seen our Darbee girl since before her surgery. I felt so blessed. She was just waking from a nap when we got there and she came to me and we snuggled for a good ten to fifteen minutes, just me and her. We all love her so much!

My how this family has grown! Those kids are getting so big!!

Grandma is so fun. She hid all the gifts and then everyone had to go find their gifts wrapped in their own personal wrapping paper. Even the adults!

Ah. Teenagers. Yep.

Everyone got a candy bar and it's wrapping matched your Christmas gifts wrapping!

Sydney loved this pink LOVE shirt. Her cousins Halle and Tanessa had one that matched and she didn't take it off for 3 days! She even slept in it. I really had to bribe her to get it off.

Brian and Jodi gave us an ATARI... for the kids... yeah, right! haha These big boys were pretty excited about it.

Braxton and Sydney had so much fun together.

The big kids went out to play in the below freezing weather and these two got their turn at the ATARI.

Tim and Logan got these little remote flying things and Halle flew Logan's all the way up into Grandma's chandelier. Haha! It's seriously high up there.

So long 2015

I love the start of a new year. It fills so fresh and we all think about all of the blessings and happy times throughout the year--as well as the trials we survived! We had a fun family New Years Eve.

We played Barbies...

And games galore!

Each of the kids told me what snack they wanted. Tim- Oreos, Landon- Chips and dip, Sydney and Seth- Pop. We had their snacks and played a bunch of games and then we watched a movie.

 

Sydney almost made it! She fell asleep during the movie around 11:30.
