Temple Trip

Heidi and I made a quick trip to the Ogden temple in November. Man, I needed it. It had been way too long since I'd been to the temple and I have so many family names that need work done.

Pack meal

My boys have been working on the cooking merit badge. They had to make two pack meals. Adam needed to do the same, so Heidi and I decided to go out together to get it done.

We both forgot a hot pad, so the boys took off their shirts to use them as hot pads and then Sydney was sure she had to follow their example. So, they all three hung out shirtless, cooking and eating. Silly kids.

Bear Lake with my gals

Sweet Stacey invited us all to Bear Lake. Her f.i.l. owns a house there and she asked if we wanted to stay the night and go to the Pickleville Palace with her to watch their production. So fun!! All, but Kim could go, darn it.

We kind of turned into teenagers. We were so silly and had so much fun.

And this show... it was so funny! And that Stacey- she decided to give it us all as our birthday gifts. Best gift ever!

We even had fun throwing the garbage away in the morning. I drove a golf cart for the first time. :) haha

Love these ladies! So thankful I have them in my life!!

Last day of Preschool

Sydney's last day of school with Miss Heidi was a program practice and a field trip to Westridge Elementary. I haven't missed a field trip yet!! I've loved getting to go with her.

The kids got to eat lunch at the school.

And play games with kindergartners. Her friend Hayden was so cute. He practically ran over to her when his teacher told him to find a preschool buddy.

So bitter sweet. Such a fun little day, but done. All done. Preschool no more and it's breaking my heart a little. My right hand man. My partner in crime. My BFF is going to school in the fall and this momma just isn't ready.

I had this great plan to give Heidi a gift, my book, the day they came, before anyone else had seen them or read one... But then my books took forever to come and a dozen people or more had a book before me! But she's so good to me, so helpful and giving of her time to edit and reedit and never making fun of me for my misplaced commas or misspelled words...
Anyway, while we were there, Syd decided to become a little gymnast, all the while shouting "Mom, take my picture!!"

Girls Night

My night to plan girls night. I did an in house personal pedicure night. It wasn't super exciting. haha. But it was relaxing and fun to be with the girls.

Heidi & Sydney

While Kim and I spent the day in Colorado, Heidi and Sydney played. Heidi is one of the most unselfish people I know. She so kindly offered to keep Sydney all day on Wednesday so I could go with Kim. And I'm surprised Sydney let her bring her home!! Heidi spoiled her rotten!

Girls Talk

Girls Night.
Fara had us over to play games and Heidi brought Girls Talk.
I got Girls Talk for my 10th birthday. It was 4th grade. Kristy Black gave it to me and she was so excited about it she said, "Let's play it right now!" I still had gifts to open, so I said something like, "In a minute" or "When I'm done." She said, "No, now, or I'll take it back." So, we stopped the gifts and played Girls Talk.
I have to say, it was way more fun to play with my grown up girlfriends.

Heidi had to do push ups and I had to cry real tears...

Fara had to walk backwards holding on to her ankles and dance with a broom.

Heidi had to show us her crossfit squat and I had to make up a dance... I called it the Golden Boob... which is another story. :)
