Janelle

My friend Janelle moved this month. Her husband got a job in Utah. The last couple years we haven't spent a lot of time together. But I will always be grateful for her. We're so different and yet we have a lot of similarities. We're the exact same age, 2 days apart, we were married just 1 year and 1 day different. We're both writers. Both of our moms were lost to cancer.
She took me to Vegas a few years ago and helped mem get ready for that writers conference and that is how I have two books published today.
I love her and I hope the best for her in Utah!

Christmas Tree Bread

Sister Evans is Seth's primary teacher and she brought him some super delicious Christmas Tree bread... too bad she doesn't share the recipe!! He thought it was pretty awesome that she brought it especially for him. She also told him he had to share. So he did.
He told us we could all have one of the little arms. :)
Haha.
He sure felt special!

Swimming!

My friend Janell is an amazing swim teacher! She is graciously and seriously cheaply teaching lessons all summer long. My kids are learning by leaps and bounds! We are so blessed and so grateful!

Vegas {Pictures}

In Provo we drove past the old tabernacle that they're turning into temple #2 there. It was pretty cool! They have the whole building up on stilts.

I went on this trip with my friend Janelle. She is a writer too. We get together every Thursday and edit for one another. It's a good thing. :) Here she is with her mom Sheree, we stayed there our first night through.

1st Conference Day!!

The first day of the conference they have a cocktail party. Neither Janelle or I wanted to go and my Cindy Jo is sooo close to Vegas. So, she drove over and we spent a couple of hours with her! So so so happy. I love this girl!

We went to dinner and then we came back to our hotel (that rock/animal picture is in the center of our hotel). There is also a bowling alley in our hotel, so we went bowling.

We didn't make it outside again until the last day of the conference. They keep us super busy and feed us breakfast, lunch and dinner. So... we hadn't been outside in what felt like a very long time. The last night we decided to skip the keynote speaker and go out on the town for a bit.

My one meal outside the hotel. Yum. :)
