Christmas Visitors!!!

Kris flew in from Oregon and she is so sweet, she wanted to visit everyone, so she made plans to spend a couple days in Big Piney with Greg and a couple days in Rock Springs with me and of course time in Evanston. We were so happy to have her and dad stay with us.

We made not-so gingerbread houses and shopped and colored and watched movies and visited.
Love my big sis so much and so happy she could come spend some time with us.

Sibling Selfie

I love my siblings so much. We often have a sibling group text going. And every once in a while someone will text: "sibling selfie time" and we all send one in, where ever we are in the moment.

A Visit!

Kris and Steve made a quick trip to see the Husted's and baby Lincoln. It was quick so she wasn't sure if she could stop or not. But they did! They even stayed a night with us. We were all pretty excited!!

Greg came over and we to lunch. :)

Uncle Steve looked at all of Seth's stuff and went out back and played football with him. It's no wonder he has always been one of their favorites.

Sydney kept Aunt Kris very busy... :)

I love my sister so much and it breaks my heart I don't see her more than maybe once a year. My kids adore her and we all miss her like loco.

Oregon Coast 2015: saying goodbye-- it's no fun

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful trip. I love my sister so much. I am so grateful my sweet husband was willing and wanting to drive a bazillion hours to get me to her! I loved watching my kids with her family and at the Ocean. I loved exploring a new place with my favorite people on the planet. So thankful we could do this.

Oregon Coast 2015: I found ice cube chocolate!!!!!!

Our last day at Kris's. Man, it was bitter sweet. Such a fun trip! We weren't planning on leaving until evening and it was Drew's birthday. So, I helped Kris gather and make a candy bar message to him. While we were out, I found my very favorite childhood candy, Ice Cubes chocolates. I was soooo excited. I bought one for everyone in my family... and two for me. :)

Aunt Kris made homemade pizza for Drew's birthday dinner and Sydney was happy to help her.

Oregon Coast 2015: getting there

We got a late start to our day--on purpose, on Monday the 22nd. We were excited to get going, but Jeff had some work to finish up and Sydney had speech. We didn't leave until 10:30.

We stopped in Evanston to drop off the Toby boy and to have lunch. Aunt Becky had left these birthday books and some $$ to spend in Oregon with Grandpa for Seth. Grandpa gave Seth money too and so did Grandma and Grandpa--so he was pretty sure he was loaded before we left!

Lots of movies and games and snacks...

This was about half way through our first day--Jeff and I got a little loopy!

Stinky Motel 6 :)

None of these scenery pictures show how cool the scenery was! it was a pretty drive for sure!

This was our first stop in Oregon, lunch. Kris mentioned just before this that it's against the law to pump your own gas in Oregon. Jeff really doesn't care for that law. Haha.

We dipped into California for maybe an hour.

The trees on this drive were huge! These pictures just don't show it!! My entire family couldn't have fit around this tree--it was so big!

THE OCEAN!

When we saw Aunt Kris's bridge we knew we were close!!
