@ Dads

Rhett and Kristi are moving to SLC and Jeff's parents have been down to their house every weekend finishing their basement and working on their house to get it to sale. Jeff really wanted to go help. So, he and Tim went to Richfield and the rest of us visited Dad and then later we went on to Ogden. But while we were visiting dad, I took these pics.
Dad's new project, he's making for his friends, the Cazines.

Then we looked through Mom's old jewelry. Dad said he bought this for her years and years ago. It's a Mercury head dime put into a necklace, he said he loved it when he saw it and bought it and then even better she loved it just as much.
This one is a half dollar that's had the middle piece cut out. Dad said they bought it together from some guy on the street in San Francisco.
This is her ruby ring. I remember when dad bought this for her. She loved it so much. She wore it almost every Sunday and any other occasion she could find. Becky always says I have Mom's hands, but her hands were dainty and pretty and mine aren't like that. Still, it was fun trying on her things.
Mom and Dad's class rings. Her mother's ring- bottom right. The black hills gold Dad kept buying for her, even though she didn't really like it. haha. I don't really care for it either. She has a couple sapphire rings, Dad always wanted to get her a sapphire ring as pretty as the ruby one, but none of them lived up to the ruby ring.
This is Mom's necklace I wore on my wedding day. :)
And more old pictures we found...

LOVE this one.

Dad

The last couple times Dad and I have been together we've gone through old pictures. I love old pictures. I wonder sometimes if the mounds of pictures I have will be as special to my kids as the few of my parents are to me.
Found this one of my cute dad. He was a handsome devil. ;)

Mom's album

My sister had one of my mom's albums. She gave it back to dad recently. It was one we hadn't seen in forever. And there were so many pictures that made my day! I love Momma's scrap books!!

I love this picture of my beautiful mother. Best woman in the world! She had to be close to my age here. We went to Disney Land when I was four. So she would have been maybe a year younger than me.

Dad after a day of work.
I think I've told all my friends about this shirt of Mom's. I want one!!! The shirt I made for Jeff (I'd rather be 40 than coaching two college teams) was inspired by this shirt!

I love these pictures, because even though I don't remember Grandma Bentley, these pictures, the way that we're snuggled up, I can see how much we loved each other.

Pretty Grandma Bessie.

Both my grandma's together. Dad said they'd all gone to the zoo and my grandma's were snippy with each other all day. haha.

I always thought this picture was fun--I'm up front but my sister in law Kristi was sitting in the back!

Old pictures and 20 years

Landon, Seth, Sydney and I went to Evanston this last weekend. Dad brought out one of Mom's scrap books and I started taking pictures of pictures... something I started doing years ago. I have a small love and obsession with pictures and that's not going away any time soon.

Me and Deanie in the back of Dad's old Ford. It wasn't long after this when Deanie died. We were BFF's.

It's my 20th class reunion this year. I'm not going. There's only a handful of girls I want to see, and for the last two years, we get together and I see them. But it was sure fun finding these pictures. I honestly can't believe these were taken 20 years ago.

This was a trip to Laramie Mom took us on. Maybe orientation--I can't remember.

Oh scary prom- Jenalee is actually pretty cute, but me, yikes, I was scary looking!

Old pictures

My cousin Tony... who I couldn't pick out in a line up sent these picture to Kris who sent them to me. I love old pictures!

This is my Grandpa Joe, Dad's dad.
Dad with Uncle Howard. Dad is the younger one.
Grandma's in the middle, Aunt Virginia on the end. I'm assuming the man is Grandpa.
