Day 1... Here we go

First day of school.
It came much too soon this year. And with my baby headed off to school, I'm a bit bitter about the early start this year. I wasn't completely ready for school--mentally ready anyway. Such a new chapter in our lives--all my babies in school.

11th, 7th, 5th, & K

I'm not sure how this day came so fast. Where is my baby?

Jr High

This kid. How on earth did he get so old? He's my baby boy. And now he is officially a junior higher.
Here he is by his giant locker.

But the best part... he'll be there with this kid!!! Best friends for ten years and finally FINALLY at the same school! They only have one class together, but hey, there is at least a chance they will see each other. YAY!

We walked through the school, met all his teachers. He is already certain the Mr. Swanson is his favorite. :)

And the moms... I don't know how excited we are about JR High, but we are excited they're together.
