I seriously love General Conference time! And I am always trying to find something fun to help my kids pay some what attention. Last conference I did the candy jars... ya know, with the words on the jar and when they hear the word they get a piece of that candy. It was fun, they listened, they also ate more candy in two days then they do all year.
Anyway, this year Samantha told me about her conference bags. They sounded awesome, so we made some together!
I put pictures of each apostle on the bags and then filled them with snacks and quiet activities, like a puzzles and new color books. Then, when an apostle spoke they got to get that bag, open it and do whatever was inside.
Friday night around 9 Landon threw up. At 1 o'clock that morning I was up with Landon and Sydney who were both sick... and I was sick!! It was miserable! By the time Saturday's 2 o'clock session of conference came 5 of the 6 of us were suffering from the stomach flu. Fun stuff.
My cute husband knows me so well. So, while I died on the couch, he took General Conference pictures for me. haha :)
