4th Fun

We love the fourth of July! It always means yummy food, friends, family and celebrating our freedom and country.
It also means kubb. :) The last few years we always play kubb on the fourth.

We lost... but we had fun.
The Shulers came over and we BBQed, taught them Kubb and they taught us cornholes. They also creamed us at both! Lots of fun!

It was pretty fun watching Tim and Rachel chat it up and become friends. :)

Heidi took this cook pic of Seth.

Love our sweet friends!
We had such a fun fourth.

Their shirts turned out so dang cute! Man, I love these kids.

Then and Now

My shirt was pretty cute too.

Independence Paint

I've wanted to make 4th of July shirts with the kids forever. I found everyone shirts for under $4 bucks! I found several designs online and then let the kids pick, they all picked a different design and they did a great job painting them.

The Fourth

We love the fourth of July. We love America. We love the men and women who keep freedom alive and this country safe!

I wanted to buy Jeff the game Kubb for his birthday, but by August he will have zero time to play games. So, I bought it for the fourth and we had lots of family fun playing.

I took a selfie of just me and Jeff... which made Sydney sad... so we pretended to be sad too and that made her happy...

The Smiths invited us over for dinner and fireworks. They have the best view and we loved seeing our good friends--who we hardly hang see anymore!!

Poor Tim, he got the worst bloody nose. He was inside trying to get it to stop for an hour. We were googling and trying everything from oils to ice packs to kicking the bottom of his feet.

Sydney and James became quick friends! James declared that he was going to marry Sydney one day. :)

Kristi and Rob were a few houses down with all the young single adults,, so we did fireworks with them too.
The Hisers were down the street too!

White Mountain caught fire in three different spots. This spot grew to three times bigger than shown here! Scary!!
