Last day of Preschool

Sydney's last day of school with Miss Heidi was a program practice and a field trip to Westridge Elementary. I haven't missed a field trip yet!! I've loved getting to go with her.

The kids got to eat lunch at the school.

And play games with kindergartners. Her friend Hayden was so cute. He practically ran over to her when his teacher told him to find a preschool buddy.

So bitter sweet. Such a fun little day, but done. All done. Preschool no more and it's breaking my heart a little. My right hand man. My partner in crime. My BFF is going to school in the fall and this momma just isn't ready.

Sydney only has a couple buddies--and Hayden is one of her besties! With his momma working we've gotten to play with him few times lately. Sydney loves it!

In fact lately she likes to claim things. She'll point to something and say, "My!" Her toys, her treats, her movies...

funny enough, whenever we walk into her school she'll point to a picture of a fireman and say "My!" I'll ask, "Is that your fireman?" And she nods yes.

So, the other day when when we had Hayden, she pointed to him and said, "My!" I'm sure she was saying "My friend." 

But it made Kim and I laugh--Sydney's put her claim on Hayden.

We went to the park with the Conover boys and Hayden. Sydney hasn't played with friends much and she has loooved seeing these boyfriends of hers lately.  They make her laugh like nobody else! Logan was so sweet to play with her and swing her. He would give her an underdog and she would just crack up!

Pirate party

Sydney was invited to a birthday party last week! Her buddy Hayden turned 4 and had s pirate party at the rec center.  Syd got to be the princess pirate which she thought was pretty great!!

Beautiful Day

We had a couple days of gorgeous weather last week. Hayden and Sydney had so much fun playing in the sandbox.

Birthday #2

Since we had cake and gifts the day before I wanted Sydney to have a fun filled day with all kinds of things that she loves.

So, we went to the park with her buddy Hayden and played and played.

And then we had ice cream. :)

 

This girl is so loved. I am so grateful for all the people who spoil and adore her. Heidi brought her a fun present and I wish so much I had a picture of her face as she opened the Little Mermaid doll. Holy cow, it was adorable. She also got the cutest little purse and a book... that's more for me than her. My Mom Snaps. :)
