Ogden with the Garretts!

We got into Ogden a couple of hours before Jenalee would be home from work. So, we went to see Finding Dory.

Reunited and it feels so good! :) We've had a lot of reunions lately, it's been super lovely.
These boys.
They are such cute good friends. I just love how well they click back together every time we see each other.
My Seth is allergic to cats, but he likes them. Halle's cat has a toy that could keep Seth an arms length away and he could still play with him.

She was in Littlest Pet Shop heaven.

Saturday they took us to Ogden's Classic water slides. We'd never been. It was such a fun little water park. Three bigger slides--that aren't so big and then a fun area for the smaller kids. The best part was we could sit in our sun chairs and see all the kids where ever it was they wanted to be.

Holy moly I love this girl.
These boys!! They're the cutest!
Oh Maddie.
This was possibly the funniest part of our trip. I asked the boys and Syd to gather in so I could take a picture. This little girl (you can see her in the above picture at the right) came right over, so the boys moved down the rocks to move away from her. But she moved with them. As you can see, Maddie squeezed her way right between Landon and Jack. hahahaha.

And then Maddie found the girls. She snuggled right up to Halle.

And then suddenly she was right on top of Halle!! One of the funniest parts was her dad watched and giggled through the whole thing, but never attempted to stop her from squeezing into our pictures or mounting Halle. She's a cute little gal and she gave all of us quite the laugh.
This is when the force from the water sent Maddie's swim suit bottoms flying off of her.

Girl selfies...
And then Maddie was suddenly joining us... LOL
It was seriously so funny. I ended up sending her dad all the pictures from the day and Jenalee teased me about getting a guys number. It felt like the good ol' days. haha.
I never feel like telling this story is ever as funny as it really was, but when I told Jeff he cracked up. :)

Jenalee lives on 12th St. in Ogden, to the right of her house is an empty lot and then her parent's business where she works. The lot in between is basically a big garden. They even have a peach tree, Syd loved it and she really loved the fuzzy green baby peach. She brought one home with us.

We went to this fun park Saturday night and then out for Farr's ice cream. The temple is right by Farr's.

Sunday we went to church, then back to Jen's for lunch and then we headed home. The boys went with Jack to young men's and Sydney started out with Jenalee and I in Sunday school. I was nervous to let her go to primary alone. But 30 seconds in sunday school and she said, "this is no fun". I asked her if she wanted to go to Primary and she did. I was so proud of her! And Jen was proud of me for letting her go. Ya... I am a tad protective.
I love this sweet family. They are amazing and I am so glad we get to see them more often.

Family Utah Trip :)

With all of our house work this summer, we took just a little vaca with the family. We went to Sandy, UT and stayed in a fun Holiday Inn. They have a little water park right at the hotel. The kids loved it and went swimming both days we were there.
I have zero pool pics, but here is miss Syd in her cute little swim suit.

We went to the aquarium and saw all sorts of fun things! The otters and penguins were our favorites!

We also took the kids to Rodizio's. It was a fun experience and we all got to try lots of new things!
