Hazel meets the boys

The Hiser's stopped by last week and our boys finally met little Hazel. She watched Landon so sweetly.

And Sydney had to love on her Lily of course. :)

She was a little possessive of Hazel. She met her a long time ago and has seen her several times since then and was pretty sure that baby was hers. She was pretty annoyed until we put Hazel in her arms. 

I got to tell the Hiser kids about their new baby sister!

And it was so fun!

Last Tuesday my sweet Fara called me pretty anxious! Her water had broken! So I ran over and packed up her kids and brought them home while she and William rushed off to Evanston to have a baby!

Lily and I gave Sydney a bath and she thought it was so funny when Lily poured water on her that she would do it right back. Lily and I squealed and Sydney thought that was hilarious. So, she kept throwing water on us!! Lil and I were pretty much soaked by the time that bath was done.

And then the time came!! I got the text that baby girl Hiser had been born. I waited until Will gave me permission and then I shared the happy news!

V Day

We had a pretty awesome Valentines Day. It started at 7 a.m. with cards from Grandma and Grandpa. They each had notes with a surprise direction where a gift for them was hidden in our house!! What a surprise!

And... they got super cute sweatshirts! 

Landon is still in his... he takes it off to shower and then he puts it back on... he even sleeps in it. 

Sydney woke up later, but she loved her cute pink sweatshirt too. And she was thrilled with her puppy card. 

Seth gave all of us a note on a balloon. Landon gave us all coupon books. Jeff and I gave the boys WYO shirts.

Lily came by with a Valentine for Sydney.

And my darling husband spoiled me as usual. 

Sydney Loves Lily

We watched the Hiser kids the other night and Sydney was hysterical with Lily. She has always loved Lily, but she was overly crazily in love with her. From the minute Lily walked in the door Sydney was all over her. She hugged and held her about the waist for the first hour. Then she made Lily hold her hand. Later when all the kids were playing Lily and Seth bonked heads and Lil was hurt and sad. As I was hugging her better Sydney ran in pretending to cry and then she hit her head against the wall and motioned to Lily. It was so funny watching her tell me what happened to Lily. Then the kids were playing cops and robbers. Suddenly Sydney was really sobbing, she was just beside herself, I thought she was hurt, but actually Lily the robber was getting arrested.
