The day of Landon's birthday was also the day of our dear friend Jason's funeral. With my family and Jeff's family being friends of the Crompton's we had a lot of family come through. It was nice for Landon to see them on his special day.

While we went to the funeral, Samantha took care of my Lando. She picked up friends and took the boys to the Rec Center and then kept Sydney at her house. I was so grateful. I wanted Landon to have a great day, but we could not miss Jason's funeral. I'm grateful she helped me make sure both could happen.
