My baby girl is five.
Five.
I honestly have no idea where the last five years have gone.
Some of the hardest and most precious of my life. She is a blessing and a light and a gift to so many. And I am so thankful for my Sydney Belle.
She's been waiting for this day for months. We marked it in pink on the calendar and she would scroll through the calendar finding her special day. She started the day with cinnamon rolls and juice and a present from her brother, Seth. Seth built her a Lego house and then before he went to school he played and played with her. That was the best gift ever. Such a sweet brother.
Before school Sydney got a phone call from a couple of her very best buds, Logan and Aven. I love those sweet boys, they were so excited to tell Syd happy happy birthday.
I am so thankful for all the people who love my girl. I wrote a birthday post on Facebook and teared up when I read all the comments, most especially her SPA, Tammy's.
Heidi gave Sydney a big bag of birthday goodies the day before at school and then she still brought her a present. Sydney loves her Heidi so much. She is one of Sydney's most favorite people. And lucky her, I think the feeling is mutual. :) A while ago Sydney told us that she wanted a polka dotted umbrella. And that's just what Heidi gave her.
My boys are seriously the sweetest. Landon used all of his money to buy Sydney a Minnie Mouse for their wii game. You can see on her face how thrilled she is. :)
Tammy had a special delivery sent to her. It was so adorable. Flowers in a sundae glass with a straw sticking out and a balloon and pink pop corn. Also, a gift card to that yogurt place. I love that Tammy!
She wanted cheese pizza for dinner. :)
Grandma called just in time to see Sydney open the gift she sent her!
Tim gave Sydney a Cinderella Lego set. He loves his baby sister!
I bought her big gift way back in January!! This cute girl wanted a Barbie house so badly for Christmas, but those things are dang expensive. I found one on clearance after Christmas for 40$!!! Like 80% off the original price. I couldn't resist!
And... she wished for a baby sister. Haha!
She was pretty spoiled--yogurt and her hand picked lunch. Lots of visitors, Fara, Lily, Hazel, Kim and Bailey came to see her too.
She is one loved 5 year old.
