Two years in a row we missed the Blue and Gold because the boys were sick. This was our last one and we were healthy! Seth and I made a cake with light sabers on it. He did a great job on it. He was so excited to get a cake, but he was very specific about what he wanted. There were three that he liked. Cake after cake went by and I kept asking if we should bid... but he knew what he wanted. By the time his cakes were auctioned they went for over 100$ and we were hoping to spend around 65$. We bid up to 85$, but we didn't get one. He was so disappointed and a little irritated at me for not bidding on a different cake. Ugh.
