We really do.
Jeff is the busiest man on the planet these days. Coaching not only the men's team, but the women's as well. It's been such a fun and different experience and I think both of us would actually love to continue on with both teams, did he not have to work his full time job. It's just so so so so much. On Landon's birthday we had school open houses and Jeff has such a short window to come home between practices. We literally saw him for 18 minutes. We shoved birthday dinner and gifts into 18 minutes and then he missed singing and pie.
He comes home from 6-6:40 and that's when we eat as a family and read scriptures and have prayer.
We're making it.
It's fine.
But it's a lot. And most of all for Jeff. It's been hard not having him home, not having his help with kids and family stuff. But he's trying really hard to be here when he can. And he's working really hard.
I pray Heavenly Father will grant him strength every single day, because he needs it greatly. And then we support, as much as we can. And we try not to complain, because of course we miss him, of course our lives are harder with him not here, but that won't change what is and it doesn't help him at all.
I'm really grateful for a husband who works so very hard. Who loves his job and gives it a million percent, especially at this time when they needed his help so much, but who also wants to be with us. And misses us.
A week of looking back
