View from my sister's kitchen!
Our first full day in Oregon, Uncle Steve had the day off. So, he took us around. We went to a dinosaur park and the tide pools (everyone's favorite!!!).
The Trees!! They're amazing.
Tide pools! Steve knows all about this stuff. It was like we had our own personal guide. We touched all kinds of living things and had so much fun.
Crab shells were all over the place--somebody's lunch! They really were super cool to look at.
There were these huge rocks around and they looked kind of like they were covered in a greyish moss or plant, but when you got up close, it was thousands of shells all over the rocks.
My kids loved the anemones! They were really cool. Steve showed them that they could touch them and the anemone would release water. The opened ones would kind of grab onto you. They were just sticky and you could tell that it wasn't a plant--but a living organism. It was kind of weird--very cool. :)
We also loved the starfish! I have probably half a dozen more pictures of starfish I didn't post.
