Earlier this month--sometime around July 7th we had two days of flooding. We live in a desert, the water has no place to go, we aren't prepared for the type of rain that came down. And holy cow did it come down. The entire town had issues and we weren't without our own. The water overflowed our gutters and saturated so insanely into the ground beneath that the sides of our window well flooded into our basement. Luckily we were able to get to it pretty quickly and though the carpet got wet, nothing was destroyed.
Crazy crazy weather!
