"Mooooooom"

O man I love that girl of mine.

Her primary teacher asked me to come into her class this past Sunday. The lesson was on "hands". She wanted to show the kids that Sydney talks with her hands and have us teach them a couple of signs.
So, I went in, it was Syd and a bunch of boys. She sat in my lap at the front of the class and I said, "Sydney show the boys how you say Jesus." She signed Jesus and then so did I. Then we had all the boys sign Jesus. They liked it a lot. So, then I thought we could show them Mom and Dad. I said, "Sydney, show the boys how you say Mom."
Well, mom is in her 5-6 word vocabulary. She usually signs and says it though, so I didn't think twice about it.
Well, she stood up and so tall. Her eyes went wide and she practically sang it out. "Mooooom!" without a sign. It was so cute and so funny! I cracked up and said, "Yep, that is how you say mom."
