I was super excited... and nervous for my launch day party. Penny and Jay were so kind and happy to have it at Cowboy Donuts. Becky was so sweet to have shirts made and come over. Fara and Heidi were there the whole time and happy to help out.
I was so nervous we'd be see sitting there with a mound of books and nothing to do. And it wasn't like that at all. People were so kind and so supportive. It started at 12 and the first people there (The Duckawitz's) got there at 11:30. We had a line from then until 1:30! I couldn't believe it! It was amazing! I felt so very loved. :)
Jeff and the kids were there for most of it. Jeff took the kids home after a while, but came back. :)
These sweet ladies brought me this gift. Amy made this wreath from pages of the ARC book I gave her! So cool!!
This is Lyn Conoway. I was her student aide in her special education class room my Senior year in High School. That year changed my life. I studied special education in college because of that class. She was so sweet to come over.
It really was such a happy day! :)
