Shannon Hale

Author Shannon Hale came to Rock Springs. I was super excited, I love her novel Austenland--and now it's a movie that I love too!

I really wanted to see how she did things--because I will soon need to know. :) She was great! She was funny and entertaining and a girls night was surely needed too!

I picked up Mary Davies and Heidi and met Kristi Young and Bailey and Mary Einfelt there. 

After she spoke she opened it up to questions and then people could get in line to have their books signed. 

But the line was enormous. So, we went out to dinner!

And then Heidi and I went back to the library and Shannon was still there!! Woo! Woo! And even better. Only one person left in line! So, we got to talk to her a bit. She was in the same mission as Jeff--at the same time, but neither of them remember the other. We talked a little about my book and she was super nice.

Applebees had 99 cent kids meals. So, we had a lot of food on our table!!! Tons!
