CHRISTMAS!

The boys didn't get up until around 6:45. Usually Jeff and I hear them talking and laughing for a while before they get up. This year there was nothing and we wondered how long they'd sleep.
According to them, they weren't sleeping, just quiet.
Sydney was still asleep, so we did our "Gifts to Jesus" without her.

Tim's gift is to be more grateful for what he already has.
Landon's gift is to better obey his parents.
Seth's gift is to be kinder.
Sydney (we made a goal/gift for her) is to learn to love primary. (Leaving nursery is gonna be rough on that 3 year old girl.)

When Sydney still wasn't awake, Daddy went in to sing to her. I came in and laid next to her and she still wouldn't budge. Jeff left and Seth came in and said, "Sydney, it's time to open presents." Her eyes popped open and she jumped right up.

Santa came!

I love these boys.
We went shopping for their dad and they were so cute. They picked out this helmet for their dad, but it was about double what I wanted to spend. So, they all offered to pitch in money. I'd pay half and they'd pay half. So generous and kind. I love those boys!

I bought all my kiddos a picture of Christ for their rooms. And reminded them how loved they are by their Savior.

Jeff and I had kind of a special opportunity this year. A few months ago we learned that our credit card accumulates points, points that you can purchase things with. We've had that card for 16 years and we've never used a point. We had a lot of points! We looked at giant TV's and trips to California. And then we decided to buy our kids a BIG Christmas gift. Something we wouldn't normally get them.

The BIG gifts!!

Okay, so Syd's we didn't use our points. She would love something that didn't break the bank, so we got her a hair styling doll. She can fix her hair. She really does love it too!

These boys got a gift together.
A Wii U!
They were just a little more than thrilled. :)

And Mr. Tim. He's been talking about saving for a lap top for a while now. And that's what we got for him! He was so surprised!

It really is the best time of the year.
