The Emergency Tie

Last week Landon was named 

STUDENT OF THE WEEK

for the whole 5th grade!

He was given this honor for being responsible and caring. :)

I'm so proud of him!

He came home last Monday so happy. 

He wanted to keep it a secret and tell us all at dinner time. 

He got to pick out a book and he got a gift card for Cafe Rio. 

He was also very excited that one day that week he would get his picture taken with the principal. 

So, a couple days later he came home and told me he had his picture taken that day. He was super excited and then he pulls a purple tie from his pocket and says: 

"It's a good thing I brought my emergency tie today!"
